Biography
County Armagh Singer/Songwriter Katie McParland has been making a great impression in the Irish Country Music Scene. Katie grew up in a musical family so it was only natural that she would go on to be musical herself. From an early age Katie took part in many musical events and as well as singing, she was in an orchestra and traditional group as a flute and whistle player through out her years at school.
Since the age of 15, Katie turned her focus to the country scene and worked in the pub/clubs and more recently over the past three years has moved into the social scene taking part in concerts and Cabaret spots. She has performed with some of Ireland's biggest stars and has had great success with her music releases to include her self penned Single "Our Love"
Not only has Katie had great success in the music scene but also debuted her TV Presenting career last year as a presenter of Fresh Country on Spotlight TV, she also has her own Radio show with Keltic Radio that airs every Friday at 8pm.
Katie is looking forward to writing more chapters to her musical career and thanks everyone for supporting her journey.
